The CAMPS Board of Directors consists of a past President, an acting President, President-Elect, Secretary, Treasurer, Chapter Representative to the Board, Board-Member-At-Large, and Junior Board Member. Membership includes medical physicists, dosimetrists, and physicians throughout the state of Connecticut.
CAMPS typically hosts three weekday afternoon/evening meetings per year (winter, spring/summer, and fall), along with the MedPhysSlam chapter compentition, and occasional social events. Please contact current CAMPS officers with any ideas you may have!
Our meetings provide a valuable opportunity for early career medical physicists to network with physicists from across the state and learn about current research and topics in medical physics. Additionally, the Junior Board Member position allows resident and student members of the AAPM the opportunity to get involved with chapter governance and gain insight into the inner workings of CAMPS and the AAPM.
